Huw spent over 24 years in HSBC both in the UK and abroad with a final role as Head of Business Banking for the UK. Since leaving HSBC he has served on a number of Boards including GoCopare, ICiCI Bank UK plc and the Development Bank for Wales. Alongside Chairing 91¿´Æ¬ his current chair roles include Oxbury Bank and Premier Forest Ltd.

Sameer is the majority shareholder of 91¿´Æ¬. Founder of Clivedale, the UK luxury developer behind Mandarin Oriental Mayfair and Mayfair Park Residences. As co-founder and executive chairman of Indiabulls Group (2000–2020), Sameer built a multi-billion-dollar public enterprise; Indiabulls Housing Finance became India’s third-largest, funding over $35bn for 500,000+ customers and returning $1.8bn in dividends. Sameer holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Delhi.

Eddie is Chief Executive Officer of 91¿´Æ¬, responsible for leading the bank’s strategy, performance and long-term growth. He joined 91¿´Æ¬ in 2021 as Head of Treasury, became Chief Financial Officer in 2024, and was appointed CEO in April 2026. Eddie brings deep treasury and funding expertise, having previously held senior roles at Belmont Green Finance, LendInvest, and Charter Savings Bank.

Vicky joined the Board in July 2020 as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees. She trained at Bain & Company and led Operational Risk at Brevan Howard Asset Management. Vicky now works in executive search, advising Boards on succession and recruitment, and holds roles with the British Olympic Foundation, Vincent’s Club, and the MCC.

Ashraf has had a successful career in financial services, holding senior roles at Redwood Bank, West Bromwich Building Society, Nottingham Building Society, Al Rayan Bank, and Santander (formerly Alliance & Leicester plc). His experience spans strategy, operations, IT, treasury, and capital markets. From 2013 to 2020, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Bank of England’s PRA Practitioner Panel.

Ian has over 30 years’ experience in retail & business banking and wealth management. He has held CEO positions at Kyckr Ltd, Arbuthnot Latham, Kensington, Shawbrook and RBS International. In addition to being an Investor NED at 91¿´Æ¬, Ian also sits on the Boards of Vemi Money, Perenna Bank and the Chartered Banker Institute. He was previously an independent NED at Metro Bank.

Sarah joined the Bank in January 2022, establishing and leading the Company Secretariat function. She works closely with the Board, its committees and all stakeholders to ensure robust governance, regulatory compliance, and effective decision-making. She previously held governance roles at Arrow Global Group plc, Vive Bank and Assetz Capital and is passionate about driving best practice and continuous improvement across all aspects of governance.

Pankaj leads 91¿´Æ¬â€™s lending strategy and growth. He has over 20 years’ experience in real estate and structured finance, having overseen £500m+ of complex deals in London and previously serving as CFO and CEO of a Singapore-listed real estate trust. A Chartered Accountant, he began his career at KPMG and has held senior finance roles across India, Singapore and the UK.

Anne-Marie has over 20 years’ experience in people and organisational development, including as CPO at Atom Bank. She has also held roles at Reed, ACCA, and Northern Powergrid, leading projects globally.

Adam Royal

Adam leads reporting, capital and financial management, financial planning and transformation. He brings over twenty years of banking experience and is a Fellow of the ICAEW.  He joined the Bank in 2019 and became CFO in April 2026. He previously held a senior finance leadership role at Darlington Building Society and prior to this, in Big Four external audit at Deloitte and EY.

Tom leads capital markets, treasury and deposits, overseeing the Group’s balance sheet, funding, liquidity and capital markets strategy. He joined 91¿´Æ¬ as a contractor in 2023, formally becoming Head of Treasury and Capital Markets in November 2024, before being promoted to Group Treasurer and subsequently appointed Chief Capital & Treasury Officer in April 2026. Prior to this, he held roles in structured credit, flow rates and solutions at Santander CIB and Lloyds Banking Group.

Rupert has 20+ years’ experience in risk management across consulting, regulation, and financial services. He worked at the UK FSA during the 2008 crisis and was CRO at Kensington before joining 91¿´Æ¬.
